I’m brand new to chickens, but this looks like a mansion for chickens.(really, only five chickens?). I say erase that roof over the yard, wire it. Use ripped down 11/2″ for the frame.
i dont know about this.. there are MANY ITEMS missing… anyone know of a better one thats free?

ALTHOUGH THIS COUPE APPEARS NICE, IT IS NOT VERY FUNCTIONAL UNLESS YOU ARE A MIDGET THAT STANDS 2 FT TALL. THE COUPE SHOULD BE ABOUT 4 FEET TALLER SO ONE CAN ACTUALLY ENTER THE COUPE AND GIVE THE CHICKENS FOOD AND WATER. THE WAY IT IS DESIGNED YOU HAVE TO GET ON YOUR HANDS AND KNEES TO GIVE THE CHICKENS FOOD AND WATER. THE COUPE IS INCREDIBLY HEAVY WHEN BUILT LIKE THE PICTURE SO PLAN ON BUILDING IT ON SITE. IT SEEMS THAT AN ARCHITECT MUST HAVE DRAWN THIS UP AND NOT A CHICKEN FARMER.
