Stephanie, I’m afraid north Texas would not be cost effective as I live
near San Antonio/Austin area. Hoosier, Yep probably not for sub zero
climates. I’m using canvas tarps now for longevity and no they won’t blow
off. Mine has withstood 40mph winds. It is wired thru the eyelets to the
coop. Thanks for viewing & your comments! I’ll make another (better) video
when I get a chance.
We are interested in your coop and would like to contact you about building
us one! We are in north Texas. Thanks.
Mark built us a coop like his in San Antonio and it is fabulous. A great
design for happy chickens….and a great business man. We enjoyed working
with mark and his wife…and we are very happy we went with his design.
Thanks mark!
The tarp weight is 6oz vs 2.8oz per sq yard and the material is Denier and
size is 10ft x 13ft
Thanks
Good vid… Would like to see more, but with a wide angle lens.
What do you do about the cold in the winter? Maybe it doesn’t get that cold
down there but it gets below 0 here and this would never do for cold
weather in Indiana. The tarp would be blown off by the end of November too.
It would make a nice summer coop.
I want to live a sustainable life. But don’t know where these men are.
