    Better than prison food.

  3. Tool Dude Tony says:

@morgandewolfe — I made that out of aluminum roofers flashing that you
can get at Home Depot or Lowes.

nice vid guys keep up the good work check my channel out if you have the
    time

well, the point is many people are not able to get fresh vegetables and
meats in an emergency, snowed in with no power, or a hurircane. To me it’s
emergency survival food. Do you know of a brand of similar food that you
think I should try? Has to have a “long shelf life”. I’m open to suggestions

The more I here about mountain house, the more impressed i am with their
    product. Thanks for the review.

Excellent video. I love MH for backpacking/camping. What stove / windscreen
    are you useing please?

  8. Tool Dude Tony says:

Thanks for compliment, morgandwolfe. I used a Featherfire alcohol stove and
a Coleman Max anodized aluminum pot set. The windscreen is home made from
    aluminum roof flashing.

I tried this about a week ago. It tasted as good as a frozen dinner you
would by in the supermarket, possibly better. The sauce was really
good……..and……the most important issue for me is that it didn’t
upset my stomach. I bought 6 of them to keep for emergencies. We loose our
power way too much considering it’s a thriving, upscale Boston suburb.

thats my favorite mountain house meal

  11. Thugz4Real says:

so then what meals do you suggest for backpacking?

  12. morgandewolfe says:

@tooldudetony Heh heh, tyvm for the reply. I recently bought a Trangia
alcohol stove and need to make a windscreen. Guess I’m off to Homedepot
    tomarrow. Thanks again. :)

This is the second positive feedback on this recipe. I’m going to have to
    try it. Thanks amigo

He Tooldude tony another great video of yours, but could you please do a
video about the pro-pak vacuum pouches of mountain house. The are smaller
but sill has a 2 serving in the pouch, and the not much room.

  15. Bigoldjeff1956 says:

I like all of your Mountain House food reviews. I keep the Mountain House
pouches around for emergency purposes, usually a couple of weeks worth. You
should change your channel name from tool dude tony to freeze dried tony.
