@Flipper79able Yeah Ray seems a true gebtleman, and a true friend. The
Doors film was embarrassing to watch. Just after Val Kilmer had serially
cheated on his wife Joanne Whaley-Kilmer, an actor of much deeper
understanding of the craft than he.
Ray is just amazing! On the other hand, this Michael C Ford character is
simply embarassing compared to Jim Morrison, but then I guess most people
would be… The idea is great but in my opinion it just doesnt seem to
work…at least not in this instance

Ray Manzarek is just an amazing conartist. Jim Morrison is alive having
faked his death in 1971 and refuses to answer the question who is BIll
Loyer. Why? Because he knows that it is Jim Morrison formerly of the DOORS
who he owes everything including all 6 of the homes he has.

Imagine what a genius Ray Manzarek is. He’s reading the poetry, searches
the meaning behind the poetry and improvises music that fits at the same
time.
Ray is great….. he played with both Jim Morrison and Iggy Pop. He also
thought Oliver Stone’s movie of the Doors was SHIT….. which makes him
pretty cool in my book.

Ray makes the statement that “Jazz Musician’s”…. whereas Ray is going
solo. I would think and synching up Musician’s (plural) would be much more
difficult to synch with a poet than a single musician comping to a lyric or
poem.
