I’m in Juneau. Keeping birds in Alaska is a lot of fun but each area has
slightly different things to watch out for. Down here in SE Alaska we don’t
get super cold but we’re always wet and humid so frost bite and hypothermia
are always a real possibility. I’m working to make my coop a warm and dry
place for the birds to keep them happy but also keep mold from forming.
It’s a serious issue down here with buildings that are warm and humid
inside.
