Thanks buddy for the tips. I plan on getting new nest boxes the the hens. I
failed to mention it but I did start for the bottom on the tin and worked
my way up. Once again thanks for the tips and comment:)
Looking good. Consider removing the piece of tin below their roost. Urine
in their dropping will destroy it soon. Move your nest boxes from under the
roost area as well, to keep them cleaner. Hens will lay in any type of box
with straw as long as they can easily access them. You may have done this
and I missed it. When putting on siding or roofing always start at bottom
and work upwards. Each piece of tin, shingle, etc. overlaps the one below
it. Thus shedding rain. Hope this helps.
