I like Mountain House foods but…….Of all the Mountain House freeze
dried foods the NOODLES & CHICKEN is my least favorite. Definately not
anything to get excited about. It’s bland and the chicken tastes a little
“gamey”. Regular Chicken Ramen you buy in a supermarket tastes a heck of a
lot better.
Chicken ala king is not a Chinese dish. John’s grandmother may have made
him Chicken Ala King as the recipe appeared in the old Fanny Farmer
cookbook.
John does seem to be easy! Lol Jack
I enjoy Mountain House but find myself stuck with the 4 serving entrees
with only my wife and I on a 30 mile hike. I find the 2 serving entrees
better for high altitude hikes when my stomach doesn’t want to be full.
