WOW! Wonderful video – don’t know why I havent seen it before. The broody hen spaces are excellent ideas. The silo is neat – like an aviary! Nice tractor too, moves easily on grass. Everything functional yet innovative.

What an excellent design for easy access for cleaning and egg collecting with the added bonus of food storage. Everything looks very well made and well thought out. Do you get snow in winter? How did it go?

We’re thinking about getting chickens. We visited Urban Farm Store on Belmont yesterday and read their book. I love Grandpa’s coop/run; it’s a nice, well thought out design. Thanks for posting this video!

How do the chickens sleep in the winter during freezing temperatures? Do you need to put an additional cardboard box or something inside the coop for the hens to huddle in. Or is this unecessary?
