For their legs, I suggest oils such as mineral oil, olive oil, veggi oil,
and canola oil!
It realy depends on the chicken. It is only my second year showing them and
I am still familiarizing my self with the different breeds, but I think
there is a breed that naturally has large spurs

Awesome lesson – Now for me to get out there and give it a try!
My friend and I should have seen this video before we washed ours and put
them in a show. We ended up using a hair dryer to dry thmr. Other than
that, we washed them ok. ps-You keep referring to this chicken as a “him”
but I’m quite sure it’s a girl!
