@iezzzwan Our neighbor cats sit on top of the green roof and peer over the
side and will sit there and watch them all day. It’s like Chicken TV. Our
dog, on the other hand, would definitely go after them, so we just don’t
let them out at the same time. Although I think the chickens would kick his
butt!
@feargalb No, not so far. If we did, I would increase the use of
diatomaceous earth in their run. Chickens dust themselves in dirt to
prevent mites, having the DE on their bodies would kill the mites.
hi, i think your chicken coop look cool but it kind small for the chicken
run around in backyard it batter u make it big . all my life i love chicken
to have good egg everyday. thank
Silly goose?
pretty lady
how loud are they?
When it comes to the poop smell there shouldn’t be any if you have proper
compost. We clean our coop every 2 weeks and there is no smell even in the
coop.
i love u girl u have a great ideas congrats! and i like that u concern
about the people living around u i want u like neighbor
lol they start flapping around like some crazy ladies
hey do u have to have a male chicken in with your female chickens probably
a stupid question
Raccoons! I’d watch those sneaky felines. They like chicken, yum.
I hope you clip their wings, so they don’t fly out of your yard, because
Yes, chickens CAN fly. Not high or far, but they can fly up on your roof or
over your fence. Just have to clip the tips of one wing, so if they try to
fly they’ll just do a barrel roll.
nice setup I give you credit on your coop
Hope you do some more videos.
I live in the country and have plenty of room and Chickens don’t’ really
need that much room. her pen is pretty nice.. and way to go having chickens
in an urban setting..
I enjoyed your video! My husband have talked about getting chickens for a
couple of years, but it is prohibited by county code. We live on the corner
and anyone driving by could see into our yard during the winter months. Are
you zoned for chickens?
@BubbleGumCastle21 no,it takes 2!! it the old story come on man!!
cute
if they come into your yard and invade your coop then you have every right
to shoot the predator. we run into the neighbors dogs coming over and
killing our chickens and they only get a few warnings before we have to
take matters into our own hands.
Don’t you think that run is too small for 3 chickens? They do not have much
space to have natural chicken behaviour of foraging, looking for insects
etc.
I love your video, really funny commentary
where did u get that coop? it is awesome!
Well if you built you coop properly, cats wouldnt be able to get in. One
day you are going to shoot the wrong cat and the owner is going to kick
down your front door.
Hi, Thaks for vid… do you have problems with mites as I hear wood can
harbour the criters!
wow my chickens are used to around -15 to -20 degrees at night:)
